Installation Guide
How to Install Big Lead Scraper
Follow these simple steps to get up and running in under 2 minutes.
1
Download the Setup File
Click the "Download for Windows" button above. Your browser will download BigLeadScraperSetup.exe (approximately 107 MB). Wait for it to fully finish downloading.
2
Run the Installer
Open your Downloads folder and double-click BigLeadScraperSetup.exe. If Windows SmartScreen appears, click "More info" → "Run anyway". This is normal for new software.
3
Choose Installation Folder
The installer will ask where to install the app. You can keep the default path or choose your preferred location. Click "Install" to proceed.
4
Launch the App
Once installed, a desktop shortcut called "Big Lead Scraper" will be created. Double-click it to launch. The app opens in its own window — no browser needed.
5
Start Extracting Leads
Type a keyword (e.g. "Beauty Salon") and a location (e.g. "New York"), then click "Start Automation". Google Maps will open automatically and leads will stream in real-time.
Common Installation Issues
Click "More info" on the SmartScreen dialog, then click "Run anyway". This warning appears because Big Lead Scraper is newly published and not yet widely distributed. The app is completely safe. You can scan it with any antivirus before running.
Right-click the desktop shortcut and select "Run as Administrator". Also ensure Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge is installed on your PC, as the app uses the browser engine for scraping. If the issue persists, try reinstalling the app.
This usually means Google showed a CAPTCHA or consent screen in the browser window that opened. Look at the Chrome/Edge window that opens during scraping and complete any verification it asks for. Then try again.
